Чем проще всего отрендерить PDF/DjVU в окно GTK?

Мне тут интересно - есть ли какие-то современные библиотеки
для отображения PDF, DjVU в окно GTK? Желательно - чтобы эти библиотеки
успевали за новомодными веяниями фирмы Adobe и разработчиков DjVU.

Собираюсь освоить PyGTK, и написать небольшую сепциализированную программку для просмотра PDF.

На что поглядеть, что почитать?

Попплер — кривой слоупок, в котором почти в каждой минорной версии пытаются поломать совместимость. Лучше обратить взгляд в сторону MuPDF.

Я не в курсе последних «новинок» от Adobe, просто знаю, что они с
реактивной скоростью выпускают новые версии Adobe Acrobat Reader.
Хотя, казалось бы - чего в этом PDF можно нового придумать? Текст - как текст.

Converting CAD files to 3D PDF Documents

You can use the Generate 3D PDF service's create3dPDF operation to programmatically convert supported stand-alone CAD files to three-dimensional (3D) PDF documents. Your application invokes that operation through the Java API or the web service API. When you invoke this service, you can supply the name of 3D conversion settings configured on the LiveCycle ES2.5 server.

The create3dPDF operation can also convert CAD assemblies to 3D PDF documents using the same mechanism described in Converting CAD assemblies to U3D documents.
