Дистр Слака 10.0. Ядро 2.4.29. Слаку пытаюсь настроить в качестве сервака в локальной сети. 192.168.0.2 её ip-шник
Как сей девайс установить? Судя по сообщениям dmesg катрочка поределилась, но в sysinstall не видно её. Как вручную её прописать?
Сетевуха при загрузки системы определяется. Как её настроить? А то везде о писяйных пишут :(

Как его ставить и чем смотреть? Расскопал тут.... Ядро уже пересобрал с v4l. Что дальше?

С виду понравился довольно лёгкий и удобый Sylpheed, но он такую мешанину делает с кодировками... Просто ужас! И автоматически отказывается понимать их.... Правда у меня версия 0.9.99, но не думаю, что там что-то поправили (в 1.01). Что можно сделать, чтобы порядок был с кодировками? И не лучше ли будет Sylpheed-клаус (или как его там)? И чем он вообще отличается от оригинала?
Хотелось бы что-то подобноевыбрать, а то Тандабёрд больно грамоздок :( (Мутт не предлагать:о))
Дистр Слака 10.0. Не знаю, после чего это случиолось, но после загрузки иксов в виртуальных консолях чёрный экран. Вообще ничего не видно. Не важно, выгрузил ли я иксы, или они ещё загружены. Стоит только их загрузить, и всё :(
Что делать, куда копать? Это, конечно, не смертельно, но всё же неприятно.

Всё грузиться, заставки проходят, не грузится меню. Задний фон выглядит отлично. Даже почти не тормозит ;) Но никаких намёков не меню.

Короче, дело было так. На проце стоит вентилятор, которому скоро исполнится 6 лет. Я его переодически смазываю и он работает как новый. Комп неделями не перегружаю. Сегодня в шест утра я проснулся из-за того, что он ушёл в перезагрузку и пикнул писи-спикер. Вста и вырубил машину. Утром включил, услышал, как "работает кулер на проце. Разобрал, смазал. Всё. Что произошло с винтом? Или это систему глючит?
Под чем его можно запустить? Пробовал в DosBox. это единственное, в чём удалось. Но тормозит тааак, что играть едва ли возможно... Еле лесоспилку удалось поставить. Проц Сел1200.

видео-битрейд выставляю порядка 1500-1800. Если фильм длинный (более 70 минут), фильм при просмотре обрывается :( Почему?

Думаю, что можно таким образом руссифицировать и оригинальную версию игры. Жаль, что позновато... Но у меня игра появилась чуть больше недели назад.
