Такая ситуация образовалась, переношу proftpd с одного серванта на 
другой. На первом (с которого переношу) стоит фря и pureftpd 
(относительно старая версия 1.0.18), на втором дебиан етч с pureftpd 
(1.0.21). Так вот я взял конфиги с фри перетащил на линукс и запустил
 pureftpd. Проблема такая образовалась, когда захожу на фрёвый сервак
 из венды, появляется окно ввода пароля (анонимный вход отключён). А 
вот когда захожу на линуксовый фтп с тем же конфигом, то окно запроса
 пароля не появляется, просто говорит что нет доступа и всё, _А_ 
_ЗАПРОС_ _НУЖЕН_. Вот и вопрос, что не так, как заставить фтп просить 
пароль.

Пое*авшись порядка двух недель с данной железкой, понял что причиной всех проблем был компорт hp'оного пролианта к которому оно и было подключен. Целью этого секса было создание факсоприёмника (факс сервера). Сейчас вроде как всё работает но хотелось бы лучше, а именно примерно из 10, пришедших с момента включения, факсов три не закончились мессагой line errror, причём два из трёх с одного номера. Я конечно понимаю что могут быть проблемы на линии, но хочется как нибудь улушить результат тренингов, что бы онм не заканчивались ошибками. Вопрос такой, какую строку инициализации и ответа лучше подсунуть сему момеду, что бы оно работало лучше. Смотрел доку по модему, но сочинил только такое:

но проблема в том что модем не кладёт трубку и держит её вплоть до полной 
перезгрузки сервака. 

Что делать?! Лазил по их сайту, но ничего не помогло или же я не понял идёю.

Прошу помощи!!!!
Поставил efax, поправил /etc/efax.rc. Отправляю с факс-аппарата на модем факс.
Факс снимает трубу, базарит с факс-аппаратом и что то получает....
Я передавал небольшую служебку, но когда открыл полученный документ, то
увидел набор из линий и квадратов, а так же ругань просмотрщика на не правильный
размер файла. Вопрос такой, как это исправить?!!!

Есть задача, сделать факс сервер для приёма факсов (модем на коме) и отправки их по почте. Долго ковырялса с mgetty, но ничего путного не вышло, факс даже не принимается. Просьба такая киньте ссылкой на какую нибудь доку с подробным описанием как и на чём это можно реализовать, или может кто то похожее делал. Перерыл весь гугль но ничего путного не нашёл :((((

Тут прислали id_dsa_cyclon.ppk сгенеренный putty, вот встал вопрос, а как 
его перегнать в формат понятный shh клиенту в линуксе, как я понимаю, 
нужно как то растолкать ключи записанные в этом файле в id_sda.

Я попробовал так:

где ###### public ключ из файла ppk.

Но что то не получается, ссш спрашивает ключевую фразу, я её ввожу 
(ввожу однозначно правильно), а он вот что:

Тут обнаружил в портах vmware-server-console, чему обрадовался, ибо на
работе некоторые сервера стояит именно в виде вмварьных машин. В общем 
поставил это дело, запустил конфигуратор, как попросил инсталятор. Но 
вот не задача, не пускается это дело от обычного юзверя, вот что говорит:

Не могу понять в чём дело. pppoe соединение устанавливается, однако pppoe-discovery выдаёт:

собсно сабж

Имееются мультимедия клавишы, типа Home, Zoom и.т.д. Дабы они заработали, решил посмотреть dmesg:

это результат нажатия одной из таких кнопок. Ну естественно следую написаному
забил команду:

/ # setkeycodes e014 249

так же пробовал вместо е014 указывать 0х94, толку нет

После чего эта кнопка пропала из dmesg, но и в xev её не видно, т.е.
когда её нажимаю xev молчит...после ребута эта кнопка опять видна в dmesg.

Что делать, как задействовать кнопки?!

Проблема такая, что при просмотре hdtv фильмов наблюдаются жуткие 
тормоза, выпадения кадров и рассинхронизация звука. Вопрос такой, это 
нормально для моего железа или же проблема в софте, если последнее, то
что делать?!

Вообщем пока жил с предками готовила мать. Готовит надо признать офигенно, можно сказать каждый раз как в дорогой ресторан сходил. Но вот когда стал жить отдельно готовить не кому, девчёнка готовить не умеет %( Но поскольку видел как всё это делается, начал сам готовить. Сейчас оттягиваюсь по жаренной курице (филе и не только) со специями, варёному картофелю присыпанного укропом и брокколи под чесночным соусом. Так же делал медальёны из свинины с гарниром из плова (криветки, сладкий перец..и.т.д) и прочее...

А кто что готовит сам?! :)

В общем всё началось с мплеера, в нём ни в какую не хотело работать управление с клавы, как потом выяснилось клава вообще не хотела работать, при запущенном мплеере...после долгих разбирательств выяснилось, что при сборке мплеера без поддержки lirc'а всё начинает работать. Дальше больше, та же шняга обнаружилась и у kradio, так же собранного с поддержкой lirc'а. Вот и встал, так сказать вопрос, что случилось, почему на 2.6.19-gentoo-r6 всё работает а тут такая хрень :( Пробовал пересобирать lirc не помогло.. :(

Проблема такая, до сего момента сидел на 2.6.19-gentoo-r6, но тут решил поставить 2.6.21-gentoo-r3 и столкнулся с проблемой. А именно mplayer а этом ядре не реагирует на нажатия кнопок клавиатуры. Т.е. если на 2.6.19 при нажатии "F" менялся режим показа на полноэкранный,стрелка влево и вправо производила перемотку, а пробел ставил воспроизведение на паузу. То на 2.6.21 mplayer просто не реагирует на эти кнопки, в консоль ничего не пишет... :(((((

Немогу понять в чём прикол, настроил с помощью freePBX конференцию
с номером 222, записал для неё приветствие. Вот только одна проблема
когда звоню на 222 слышу приветствие после чего, через пару секунд,
