Очевидно. Я и раньше подозревал, что у меня с винтом что-то не так, но только сейчас дошло, что это вообще такое было. Год винту, вместе с ноутом. Очевидно я рекордсмен по этому значению в топике и по некоторым данным на хабре, он давно должен был перестать работать.

S.M.A.R.T. Load Cycle Count
WD Scorpio Blue паркуется через 4 или 8 секунд простоя (зависит от диска).

Исправляется idle3-tools под линукс или wdidle3 (официальный) под DOS. Или hdparm, если не хочется изменять firmware диска.
На моем щелкает примерно 25 раз за день (8 секунд). Израсходует ресурс нескоро. А если 4 секунды, то щелкает регулярно.

Если память не изменяет - русрс всего 600-650тыщ парковок.
Плюс... та-да-ммм..

Настройки энергопотребления ноутбука. (ефи/биос).
У меня оно каждую секунду клац-клац-клац.

Все еще жду ССД по приемлемым ценам, но смотрю все пристальней и пристальней на Kingston SVP200 / 120GB

Чтоб два раза не вставать, напомню, что для человека предназначены колонки VALUE, WORST(во многих случаях не несущая смысл) и THRESH. RAW_VALUE для человека НЕ предназначен (кроме, разве что битых секторов). А то потом купишь сигейт и опять на лор прибежишь с ШОК-ВИДЕО-СМОТРЕТЬ-СИГЕЙТ-ОТКУСИЛ-МНЕ-РУКУ.

Думаю, да. Если со Spin_Up_Time ещё, может быть, не всё понятно, то по переназначенным секторам это сильно повреждённый диск. Их количество хотя бы не растёт?

Поставьте smartd, чтобы он следил за динамикой показателей. Правда, при таком раскладе он уже сейчас может начать забрасывать root'а почтой с паническими сообщениями.

Вы уверены, что правильно парсите вывод S.M.A.R.T.? Pre-fail и old-age — это не текущее состояние диска, а тип записи, насколько я понимаю.

Уже отдал. Хотя попробуй прогнать badblocks на нем и после сравнить значение Reallocated_Sector_Ct с текущим - если не изменится, то есть мизерные шансы, что это было что-то разовое.

Это зависит от того, кто как понимает фразу «отдать копыта». У некоторых диск считается рабочим, пока в биосе определяется.

Экземпляр по ссылке уже вышел из строя.
