Xorg intel видло i915g

Всем привет у меня такая проблема у меня на второй тачке стоит до бновления Ubuntu 9.04 но и в Xorg спокойно ставилось разрешение 1280x1024 но после обновления максимум ставится 1152x864 хочется вернуть прежнее разрешение

А вообще, если лень разбираться, есть такой костыль: xorg.conf. Там надо написать следующее (заменив только VendorName и ModelName, т.е. частоты уже указаны правильно для случая «1280x1024 LCD»):

IMHO, проблема в неправильном определении частоты развертки в части режимов.
