Не работает wifi

Не могу подключиться через wpa_supplicant.

Пишу: wpa_supplicant -i wlan0 -c /etc/wpa_supplicant.conf

В ответ: wlan0: Filed to initialize driver interface

В чем проблема и как ее решить?

P.s. Пишу с планшета, поэтому не могу активно копипастить консоль.

Можно конкретнее.

При тех же обстоятельствах раньше все работало. Есть подозрения что повреждено устройство. Можно ли это как-то проверить в линукс?

посмотри вывод lspci

у меня вот вафля:

$ lspci|grep Netw

и inxi есть:

воткни планшет как модем и копипастни дмесг и lspci -v у сетевухи.
