Luxoft (member of IBS group of companies) is looking for senior developer C++. Required skills: extensive experience with C++ (5+ years); Experience with RogueWave suite of products is required; Experience with distributed computing is needed; Advanced knowledge of performance-critical and high-availability infrastructures is needed. Working knowledge with Tibco Rendezvous is needed; Working knowledge or Oracle and PL/SQL is needed. Experience in working in ISO9000/CMMi certified company is a plus but not required. Working knowledge and experience on using UML to communicate architectural and design decisions is a big plus. Knowledge of Unix shell as an advanced user is a plus. Understanding of concepts of Unix-like operating systems, and knowledge of Linux or FreeBSD kernel is a plus. Experience in tuning and administering Linux is a plus. Responsibilities: Design, develop, document, and maintain modules of a existing system, for which she/he takes ownership of. Participate in code reviews and design sessions for other parts of system. Communicate with business and the rest of the team on daily basis to understand business and technical requirements to the product being developed, and translating them into a logical, well-structured, and performant application. Resolve issues and continuously excel the performance of the core parts of the system to achieve highest performance in the industry.
This assignment requires a permanent move to London, UK. The company provides the work permit in the UK. After a year spent on-site, the candidate will have an option either to stay in London, or join an off-shore part of the development team in a senior technical or managerial role.
