Подключит почтовый клиент the bat к postfix

Здравствуйте, как подключить почтовый клиент The Bat к postfix, создал на своем сервере почтовый сервер postfix+dovecot, письма через командную строку отправляет отлично и я отправляю с других почтовых серверов как mail.ru и вижу на сервере они приходят и хранятся. Настройку почтового сервера делал как тут описано https://firstvds.ru/technology/ustanovka-i-nastroyka-pochtovogo-servera-postf...

но the bat не хочет подключаться по логину и паролю почтового ящика, говорит IMAP 10053 программа на вашем хост компьютере разорвала установленное подключение


письма через командную строку отправляет отлично

письма с командной строки идут с локалхоста и не попадают под ограничения. письма с командной строки касаются только MTA , но никак не касаются MDA.

те вот этот пункт «создал на своем сервере почтовый сервер postfix+dovecot» можно зачеркнуть. ничего ты еще не создал.

те вопрос нужно переформулировать как «у меня криво работает dovecot, логи я не смотрю, конфиги не покажу, сижу на винде, призываю экстрасенсов, чтобы мне помогали»

Так, как ты хочешь, никак не подключить. Postfix поддерживает только smtp (то есть подключить Bat к Postfix ты можешь только для для отправки). pop/imap Postfix не поддерживает.

dovecot поддерживает pop imap и он как то должен дать возможность подключиться

Разумеется. Но прежде, чем браться за почтовый сервер, надо изучить проблему, а иначе получится рассадник спама. Исходный же вопрос говорит о полном непонимании процесса, потому помогать пока вряд ли кому захочется. Попробуйте другие почтовые клиенты, у Bat'а были проблемы с поддержкой актуальный методов шифрации. Если сервер ваш персональный домашний, как вариант можно попробвать отключть ssl.

помогло

Да, подключил другой клиент и стал отправлять и принимать письма и говорит о сертификатах не проверенных, надо разбираться.

Thunderbird. При первом подключении он предлагает навсегда забыть о непроверенном сертификате. Ну если не хотите с ним возится.
