Как вернуть нормальную оконную систему на freebsd? Plasma

Устанавливал как всегда freebsd13, только в этот раз произошло что-то странное. Сначала при загрузке ОС монитор не работал, хотя обычно я сразу видел меню входа. Ну ладно, я зашёл по ssh и установил видеодрайвер. Теперь запускается, просит ввод пароля на экране входа в систему и там выбор: есть wayland, user session и x11. Wayland еще дорабатывают, я всегда выбирал user session. Но сейчас user session не работает, но зато x11, которого небыло раньше, работает. Что я пропустил? Мне не нравится смотреть на оконную систему x11, хочу вернуть как было. Неужели, мне придётся патчить старые кде?

Комп на amd-ryzen, ddr4(8Gb)озу, устанавливал как на bios. Видеокарта radeon, в неё был подключен монитор при установке. Похоже, что freebsd видео не работает с видеокартой, пока не настроишь.

Твоя видеокарта умеет в amdgpu? Не знаю в чём проблема, но у меня на R7 265X с radeonkms тоже видео 3.14-дорасит с какого-то момента времени (≈11.x, до этого не юзал FreeBSD на десктопе).

Есть подозрение, что у тебя проблемы с EDID (в Linux для этого есть костыли, FreeBSD полагается на него полностью), но я не особо в теме, чтобы что-то рекомендовать по этому поводу.

Установил freebsd на другой комп вообще без видеокарты, amd-athlon, ddr3(6Gb)озу. Тоже Plasma x11 стала.

А на древнем интеле всё тоже самое делаю и нет x11. Как так?

У меня плазма под иксами запускается, но я никогда не обращал внимание как называется сессия при входе.

Я не делал ничего. Раньше было просто Plasma, а теперь выбор Plasma(x11). И теперь как будто совсем другое окружение.

а теперь у тебя есть выбор - вяленый или х11.

Разница в том, что версия KDE Plasma, Qt и Frameworks другая

так они вроде бы каждый релиз что-то в темах меняют.
настрой как тебе надо.

Настроить можно только оформление и внешний вид рабочей среды Plasma. Пробовал и темы другие ставить и настраивал.

Меня печалит не убогий внешний вид, а нестабильность. Например, какой-то софт работает криво, а раньше работал нормально.
