Утилита управления RAID на сервере HP DL320 G3

Всем привет. Решил на стареньком HP DL320 G3 установить Centos 5.4 на встроенном контроллере SATA RAID

Создал RAID 1 из биоса, ОС увидела RAID при установки, все поставилось все ОК.

Теперь хочу мониторить RAID, так как на корпусе нет ни каких индикаторов работы дисков.

Зашел на сайт HP качнул HP Embedded G5 SATA RAID Controller Command Line Interface for Linux (AMD64/EM64T)

Поставил. Результат: 

[root@localhost ~]# ./hrconf GETVERSION
Controllers found: 0
Command completed successfully.
[root@localhost ~]#

Не работает, подскажите в чем может быть причина?

Начал гуглить что же у меня за рейд такой... нагуглил:

значит рэйд полусофтовый, ладно хотя бы так мониторить можно, но вопросы остались:

1. почему hrconf от HP не работает (специально для это древний Centos 5.4 поставил)

2. что за ошибка libdmraid-events-dos.so ? как убрать?

Подскажите?

видал и ставил, не работает:

[root@localhost ~]# hpacucli

lspci покаж? если полусофтовый контроллер, то лучше плюнь на его рейдовую функциональность и пользуйся обычным софтрейдом, спокойней спать по ночам будешь

)))) а bios HP показывает гордо Adaptec и просит <ctr>+<s> нажать)))) таково от HP не ожидал....

А тебя не смущает, что сервер G3, а hrconf, скаченный тобою - G5?
Это фэйк-рэйд, лучше бери свежий дистрибутив и ставь обычный софтовый рейд.

Эт я понял, это мы выяснили. Теперь давайте все таки по топику попробуем решить, надо понять почему:

во-первых, зря ставил 5.4, ибо за 4 года исправили тьму багов; во-вторых, настойчиво пытаешься пользоваться говнофичами этого недоконтроллера, почему бы не перестать жрать говно?

Библиотека не найдена. Найти. Если необходимо - указать путь в LD_LIBRARY_PATH

предположу что нужно сменить драйвер для RAID на aacraid.ko тогда контролер будет определятся как Adaptec и hrconf видимо определит его

P.S. в Windows 2k3 sp1 он изначально определяется как adaptec

Подскажите как драва менять в Центоси?

P.P.S да, я из принципа хочу чтоб заработал hrconf

Надеюсь, этот рейд развалится и загубит всё, что на нём лежит, до того как ты начнёшь использовать его для чего-то важного.

Хватит брызгать слюной от ненависти. Я услышал все, что ты говорил про софтовый рэйд и принял к сведению.

Что бы ты спал спокойно аноним: на серваке win2k3 без рэйда крутится, второй винт используется для хранения видео с камер наблюдения.
