Dear sirs.
What steps I should do to convert linux partition from ext2 to ext3.

Yes, but it does not work...
After reset button linux starts checking file system and gets
administrator shell because of the file system problem. :-((

actually ext3 it's simply ext2+journal
maybe you need newer e2fsprogs version?
