Звонил kppp и wvdial, в kppp выставлял ip - динамический, DNS и динамический и статический, всё одно браузер страницу не находит(mozilla, lynx, konquer)
В винде всё пашет, в чём может быть причина.

Вот за полторы тысячи, специально ради линукса купил хардварный модем usrobotics 56k 2976, а он чё то не пашет, KDE`шная звонилка тормозится на инициализации, а при опросе все строки(ATI1,...) пустые, под виндой всё ОК, чо делать?

В файле config.help написанно:

Причём я поддержку этого "UDA 1341 audio chip", не заказывал, оно мне нафиг не надо и вобше в файле config строчки CONFIG_SND_SA11XX_UDA1341
нет(ни вкаком виде, даже строки 1341 нет), компилится только если поддержку звука полностью отменить, но тогда alsa не компилится, чо делать ума не приложу, может дело в компиляторе(gcc 3.2 точно не помню)

Вот поставил на 166MMX 32 RAM linux а он тормозит даже в консоли, как бы его оптимизировать

Сори не asci to integer, а integer to asci

Не подскажете где бы взять подобную фукцию(ASCI to integer) и еще нельзя ли с помошью printf сделать вывод числа типа int в виде 000 001 045 670, вобшем если число состоит менее чем из трех цифр чтоб нули дорисовывались.

Помнится в Мандрейке 7.1 можно было менять разрешение с помошью CTRL+ALT+(+/-), как сделать такое в 9.1?

У меня стоит мандрейк 9.1 на диске после 1024-го цилиндра, при попытке запустить команду lilo, она вылетает когда доходит до винды(/dev/hda1), с матами lilo failed: UNSAFE maybe used with floppy or MBR only, чо к чему ума не приложу.

Можно ли поставить мандрейк на диск после 1024-го цилиндра, а если нет то что делать в ситуации когда основной линуховый раздел(6ГБ) после 1024-го цилиндра, а не большой(1ГБ) до 1024-го, смонтировать его в папке /boot?

Блин вот решил переустановить Mandrake 9.1(а надо сказать диск у меня был разбит так: 2 ГБ фат32, 2ГБ нтфс, линуховые разделы(5 штук ext3 + swap) и большой фат 32) убил все ext3 разделы(кроме одного), сделал один большой / и начал установку, а после перезагрузки оказалось, что у меня после того самого не тронутого ext3 все разделы снесены и вновь созданый ext3 и ранее существующий фат. Помогите пожалуйста что делать, существует ли прога которая способна просканить диск и сказать, вот тут начинается раздел(где-то же это записано).

Я тут с /tmp поигрался(скопировал на другой диск и сделал симлинк), а x-Ы сдохли(Could not init font path element unix/:-1, removing from list! Fatal server error: could not open default font 'fixed'), я потом всё на место вернул, но они все равно ругаются, ни чё не понимаю как там могло чо-то удалится и главное чё туперь делать(мож ему ttf-ку подсунуть). P.S Дистр - Mandrake 9.1

Кто-нить запускал сабж от буки и как

Вот и wine и winex3 руссифицировал решил поставить homm4(от Буки), а они не пушаются, пишет в консоли VIRUS WARNING: PE module has an invalid entrypoint (0x0044b7d1) outside all sections (possibly infected by Tchernobyl/SpaceFiller virus)! wine: Unhandled exception, starting debugger... и выдаёт типа не могу загрузить dll. Ещё пытался поставить promt 2000 и под вайном и под вайнексом инсталяция обламывается(правда вайнекс продвигается дальше) ктонить ставил, имеет ли смысл качать crossover office? Заранее благодарен
