fbmon: work around compiler bug in gcc-4.2.4

commit 3730793d457fed79a6d49bae72996d458c8e4f2d upstream.
There's some odd bug in gcc-4.2 where it miscompiles a simple loop whent
he loop counter is of type 'unsigned char' and it should count to 128.

The compiler will incorrectly decide that a trivial loop like this:

unsigned char i, ...

for (i = 0; i < 128; i++) {
..

is endless, and will compile it to a single instruction that just
branches to itself.

This was triggered by the addition of '-fno-strict-overflow', and we
could play games with compiler versions and go back to '-fwrapv'
instead, but the trivial way to avoid it is to just make the loop
induction variable be an 'int' instead.

вчера появилось уже и в testing имена пакетов ничем не изменились (кроме пакета исходников)

было libc6-* 2.9-10 (Glibc 2.9 U. Drepper) стало libc6-* 2.9-12 (EGLIBC)

процесс сборки также мало изменился, разве что патчей стало вроде как меньше, а вот скорость очень порадовала после обновления, стало очень шустро работать все, возможно отчасти и от того что собрала GCC 4.4.1 (pre) с оптимизацией graphite, размеры (и использование памяти следовательно) библиотек стали чуть-чуть меньше. Проблем пока не заметила.

1) хорошо бы подправить имя пакета, потому что то что собирает Sune Vuorela
обычно называется допустим arora_0.7.0-1_i386.deb
то что генерирует builddeb.sh
обычно имеет имя
arora_0.7.0~git20090526-1~squeeze1~upstream1_i386.deb
что вынуждает сразу после обновления ставить пакет на hold,
иначе aptitude считает что тот что в репозиториях - новее
Как вариант - arora_0.7.0-20090526~squeeze1_i386.deb
например наверное было бы лучше

2) в deb пакете напрочь отсутствует локализация
папка /usr/share/arora/locale пустая, хотя локали были нормально сгенерированы

• скрывать нечего, пусть собирают статистику какую хотят
• умеренно фильтруете веб скрипты с помощью adblock,bfilter,privoxy и т п
• NoScript + запрет cookies
• Более паранойальные меры (tor ,тотальная фильтрация всего и вся, sandboxing сетевых приложений)
• ...

есть ли утилита для копирования файлов типа cp , но чтобы показывала прогресс копирования по индивидуальным файлам и желательно общий (+ возможно скорость копирования, ETA ...) ?

есть конечно mc и варианты с скриптами dd/pv и т п, но хочется что-нибудь совсем простое, просто через sshfs копирование больших файлов достаточно медленное и cp -v может очень долгое время ничего вообще не выдавать.
