Доброго времени суток. Есть машинка SGI O2 ( используется как "домашний" веб-сервер). Так вот стоявший в ней 18Gb 7200rmp fujitsu сдох, изрыгнув бэдами. Хочу поставить новый, предлагают за копеечную сумму HDD 146.8 Gb U320SCSI ST3146707LC Описание тут: http://www.nix.ru/autocatalog/hdd_seagate/HDD_146.8_U320SCSI_Seagate_Cheetah_10 K.7_3146707LC_80pin_10000rpm_33312.html И пофигу, что скорость винта больше скорости контроллера, главное места много и за копейки. Вопроса два. Этот Adaptec подружит с этим винтом, т.е. по LVD ( он вообще его держит, или только SE?). Второй вопрос касаемо охлоаждения. В SGI пластиковая корсина в которай весьма тесно и доп. охлаждения не поставишь, чем это чревато винту?

При создании разделов в fdisk в консоль начинает сыпаться вот эта фигня. (scsi2:X:X:X): data overrun detected in Data-in phase. Tag == 0xb. > (scsi2:A:4:0): Have seen Data Phase. Length = 4096. NumSGs = 1. > sg[0] - Addr 0x0c087ede0 : Length 32 И так минуты три-четыре. Если после этого сделать mkfs.ext3 или mkfs.xfs то эта хрень вообще бесконечна ( по крайней мере длиннее моего терпения). При попытке поставить ОС с нуля, при автоматичекой разбивке, тоже ругань сплошная при старте копирования файлов. Предадущий владелец говорит, что хрень с диском произошла после того как он натравил "hdparm -t" на активный swap раздел. Чем лечить?

GTK стоит 2.10.0, да и вообще стоят все пакеты в названии которых есть gtk. man pkg-config в силу чайниковости и незнания языка ничего не дал. Помогите советом, или может кто-то уже имеет сборки под Ubuntu и Slackware?
