The AppLift Engineering team works on a full-stack self-serve demand platform, which includes real-time bidding, social capabilities, as well as advanced campaign management functionalities. We help app developers to intelligently bid on advertising spaces in milliseconds. We run a multi-continent infrastructure that handles billions of requests a day, crunching huge amounts of data.

Your Responsibilities:

You build and maintain different products that are used by internal and external stakeholders You build and maintain our APIs, infrastructures and data pipeline You work on Backend elements on all of our products, making them perform better and more user friendly You are proactive and pay attention to the scalability, performance, availability and usability of our systems You work closely with product, design and implement solutions based on requirements You write clean code, automate and continuously deploy it You rapidly diagnose and resolve production issues You work on AWS, Mesos and other cloud based solutions You research, and are happy to learn new technologies that will improve our products and development flow

Our Requirements:

You bring at least 4+ years of work experience in web development and software engineering Min. 3 years Ruby on Rails professional experience, with an excellent knowledge of backend development and technologies High interest in learning new technologies (Go Lang, Scala or similar) and provide or implement suggestions for improvements where applicable You like to solve complex problems and are able to prioritize between different projects You are a team player and don’t mind “getting your hands dirty“ to support others Very good communication skills with high English proficiency Entrepreneurial drive to create successful products Passion for mobile advertising with a great User Experience B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or Engineering
