It looks like somehow we have a username conflict. We have another user
in our LDAP directory with the username 'kost' but this is clearly a
different person. I am sure how that happened.

Would you be willing to change your user name? I can then update the
LDAP directory and the apps for you at which time you can reset your
password. To be honest I am not sure we have many other options.
