Radeon 1950 pro drivers

купил видео sapphire radeon 1950 pro AGP (512mb), порадовался. недолго правда. Закатал дрова ati-driver-installer-8.33.6-x86.x86_64.run сгенерил пакет для SuSE 10.0 и поставил его (как обычно принудительно, вычистив перед этим старые дрова). далее aticonfig --initial --input=/etc/X11/xorg.conf часть xorg-а: Section "Device" BoardName "Sapphire RADEON 1950pro" BusID "1:0:0" Driver "fglrx" Identifier "aticonfig-Device[0]" VendorName "ATI" EndSection

в итоге после долгих конвульсий при старте Х - черный экран никакого намека на поддержку серии 1950 драйвером не нашел (хотя о таковой много болтали в разных обзорах) помогите понять в чем дело...
