Linux System Administrator
This is a full time remote position and US PST hours.
• Must have strong passion for analyzing lots of information and learning. • Must have Linux system/network administration experience (> 3 years) • Windows administration experience is advantage. • Advanced networking skills is advantage • Must have experience running production environments. • Must have strong scripting skills • Strong Bash/Shell knowledge is a must. • Knowledge of one of the following: Powershell/Python/Go - is highly preferred • Other languages knowledge is advantage • Must have experience collaborating using Git VCS (Gitlab, Bitbucket) • GIT administration experience is advantage • Must have experience maintaining Chef or similar software (configuring, troubleshooting, writing cookbooks) • Experience working with other automation tools (DSC/Puppet/Ansible/CloudFormation) is advantage • Must have good communication skills in English • Must have a passion for documenting things. • Nice to have experience working with Nginx or similar • Nice to have experience working with cloud technologies • Amazon Web Services (AWS) is preferred • Nice to have experience working with the following: Docker containers, Hashicorp's Consul, Vault, Terraform • Nice to have experience running ELK stack or similar • Comfort with collaboration, open communication and reaching across functional borders
