Ускорение nvidia

Я помню мне сказали, что "NvAGP" "1", а потом кто-то сказал, что с тройкой быстрее будет. Это так?

Option "NvAGP" "integer"
Configure AGP support. Integer argument can be one of:
0 : disable agp
1 : use NVIDIA's internal AGP support, if possible
2 : use AGPGART, if possible
3 : use any agp support (try AGPGART, then NVIDIA's AGP)
Please note that NVIDIA's internal AGP support cannot
work if AGPGART is either statically compiled into your
kernel or is built as a module, but loaded into your
kernel (some distributions load AGPGART into the kernel
at boot up). Default: 3 (the default was 1 until after
1.0-1251).

А для этого ничего сверхъестесственного проделывать не надо? А то у меня не работает с этой опцией...

Блин, я пока этот лог выложил 2 или 3 раза удалял сообщение :)

Я сначала пробовал как ты написал (Extensions), потом попробовал без s на конце. Сам не знаю зачем :) Так вот, лог записался без s, а я потом подправил туда, где ошибка. Поэтому там "2 весии"

Они RENDER вроде только в xorg-6.8 прикрутили, а у тебя, как я посмотрю, 6.7.

Значит обновить надо...

Посмотри если такое же то все пучком 

cat /proc/driver/nvidia/agp/status

AGP Rate: 8x 
Fast Writes: Enabled 
SBA: Enabled 

Если нет то echo "options nvidia NVreg_EnableAGPSBA=1 NVreg_EnableAGPFW=1" >> modprobe.conf

сделал => -10 fps в quake3 :)

Добавил строки в /etc/modprobe.conf, а толку от этого не прибавилось.

Карточка у меня geforce 2 mx400

А у меня ошибка там какая-то...

Люди, кончайте вращаться - не даст вам FW и SBA (см. NvWorld.ru FAQ) видимого прироста производительности. Это из разряда сказок про супербыструю Gentoo :-))

Лучше оверклокингом займитесь, если уж так прижало...
