У когонить есть идеи, как еще ТВ-вход на карте заюзать?
Там она даже модули грузанула для Филипса, как я посмотрел =(

If RivaTV is unable to reserve an IRQ, it is possible you have no IRQ assigned to your VGA card in your system's BIOS. Enable and try again.

У тебя параметр assign irq for vga включен?

P.S. Ну тогда непонятно. Получается, что она устройство не опознает или ей прерыванию (если assign включено) не хватает. Последнее может происходить из-за отключенного acpi.

Кстати, в догонку
У меня в БИОСе врублен некий APIC!
Почитал, что он что-то делает с прерываниями (типа увеличивает их число)
Из-за него неможет быть?
Может Linux  с ним и не может работать корректно?

Если да, то обидно, т.к. написано, что если он был включен до установки, то вырубив его надо ставить заново!

Versions of the NVIDIA driver version above 1.0-6000 prohibit any other driver from accessing it's resources. Therefore, you can load RivaTV, but not the NVIDIA driver, or vice versa. 
You should be OK as long as you can use an 1.0-5xxx version.
