есть образ с офтопиком, поставил федору, пытаюсь скормить его виртуал боксу вижу след:


Failed to open the hard disk /media/SOFT/QEMU/VirtB.vdi.
Could not open the medium '/media/SOFT/QEMU/VirtB.vdi'.
VMDK: error reading the magic number in '/media/SOFT/QEMU/VirtB.vdi' (VERR_EOF).
VD: error VERR_EOF opening image file '/media/SOFT/QEMU/VirtB.vdi' (VERR_EOF).

что делать?

нда.... хранил на НТФС, скорее всего дело в этом:

You can try some advanced data recovery, but I'm afraid that won't get you anywhere for a working VDI. I had data loss a couple of times with the VDI files when I shared it on an NTFS drive and defragged it on Windows. Right after the defrag, the data was corrupt and Windows forced a checkdisk, making the file(s) 0KB. Not much you can do about, other than storing them on a less active drive if you must share them.
