Помогите плиз разобраться со стриммером

Есть сервер, на сервере ASP 9.0 есть SCSI-стриммер, который распознается как ARHIVE Python 06408-XXX ULTRA2-LVD катриджи Verbatim и Fujifilm DDS 4 4mm 150 м

в /var/log/dmesg

Attached scsi tape st0 at scsi3, channel 0, id 6, lun 0

до того как был вставлен катридж

[]# mt -f /dev/st0 status

SCSI 2 tape drive: File number=-1, block number=-1, partition=0. Tape block size 0 bytes. Density code 0x0 (default). Soft error count since last status=0 General status bits on (50000): DR_OPEN IM_REP_EN

после того как был вставлен катридж:

[]# mt -f /dev/st0 status /dev/st0: Input/output error

[]# mt -f /dev/st0 rewind /dev/st0: Input/output error

что это значит?

Гм.. вставила другой катридж

[]# mt -f /dev/st0 status SCSI 2 tape drive: File number=0, block number=0, partition=0. Tape block size 512 bytes. Density code 0x26 (DDS-4 or QIC-4GB). Soft error count since last status=0 General status bits on (41010000): BOT ONLINE IM_REP_EN

т.е. на статус уже перестал выдавать ошибку

[]# mt -f /dev/st0 erase

минуты через 4 выдал

/dev/st0: Input/output error

[]# tar cvf /dev/nst0 /home/xr/ tar: Removing leading `/' from member names home/xr/ home/xr/.kde/ home/xr/.kde/Autostart/ home/xr/.kde/Autostart/.directory home/xr/.kde/share/ home/xr/.kde/share/config/ home/xr/.kde/share/config/kdeglobals home/xr/.bash_logout home/xr/.bash_profile home/xr/.bashrc home/xr/.gtkrc home/xr/logcheck-1.1.1.tar.gz home/xr/portsentry-1.2.tar.gz tar: /dev/nst0: Wrote only 0 of 10240 bytes tar: Error is not recoverable: exiting now

тоже для /dev/st0
