Как обновить CentOS 6 в 2022 году?

Достался мне сервер с CentOS 6.10, к которому нет доступа. Хочу его обновить до CentOS 7, только yum не работает совсем, и все способы это исправить тоже не работают, устарели ссылки. Как быть? Что делать?

Нет у него обновления на 7-ку, только переустановить. Для шестерки можно, при желании, найти работающий репозитарий с последними апдейтами (который уже давно не обновляется).

Как уже написали системного обновления нет
Я делал так, на отдельный раздел распаковал centos7 root который заранее ставил на виртуалке, лучше использовать LVM чтобы ставить на минимум а потом увеличить, старый загрузчик на grub1 вполне рабочий поправить пути на ядро и на root раздел мб перепаковать initramfs. Добавил net.ifnames=0 biosdevname=0 для сетевухи eth0.

Вполне загружается, потом сервисы перетягиваешь.

Ты можешь приобрести RHEL 6 ELS. Она поддерживается до 2024 года.

Я пробую как здесь, ссылки https://archive.kernel.org/centos-vault/6.10/updates/x86_64/ - вроде работают.

Но yum по прежнему не работает

Вообще мне нужно починить компилятор си++ (<iostream> не находит), или обновить glibc чтобы можно было установить конду, и дальше пакеты в ней использовать
