cfdisk, пара вопросов

С помощью cfdisk создал два primary раздела с типом W95/fat32. На первый
раздел поставил WinXP, которая при установке форматнула его в NTFS.
Затем через disk manager самой WinXP форматнул и второй раздел в NTFS.
Остальные разделы под Linux я создал опять через fdisk. Все хорошо, вот
только fdisk выдает такую информацию

partition /dev/hda1 does not end on cylinder boundary

partition /dev/hda2 does not end on cylinder boundary

Вопрос: кто с таким сталкивался? В чем причина? насколькко "ужасными" могут быть дальнейшие последсвия?(т.е. не загремит в дальнейшем моя инфа в /dev/null ?

Покопавшись в google, нашел такое вот решение

If a partition does not start or end on a cylinder boundary or if the partition length is not divisible by the cylinder size, an asterisks (*) is printed after the non-aligned sector number/count. This usually indicates that a partition was created by an operating system that either does not align partitions to cylinder boundaries or that used different disk geometry information. If you know the disk geometry of the other operating system, you could enter the geometry information with the change geometry command (g).

А "кто" знает disk geometry of the WinXP operation system?  И вообще, стоит ли игра по изменению геометрии свечь?
