Как откатить Devuan с 4й версии Chimaera обратно на 3ю версию Beowulf?

Здравствуйте! После обновления стал сбоить xorg - выходит из сессии, если запустить openshot и chromium с google или каким-нибудь нагруженным javascript сайтом. иногда выходит из сессии (падает) если просто зайти на какой-нибудь перегруженный js сайт.

В beowulf такое не наблюдалось.

Смена /etc/apt/sources.list и apt update && apt upgrade не помогло

Подскажите, как откатить все апгрейднутые пакеты обратно?

/var/log/apt/history.log хранит всю историю, но где искать предыдущие версии по-быстрому не ясно.

Можно руками поставить приоритет пакетам из этого источника 1001, man 5 apt_preferences — но это часто не работает. Да, тут даже для опытного проще переустановка.

вот такие ошибки в обилии, мышь беспроводная жалуется (но возможно из-за провода usb-удлинителя, длинного и глючного, на котором тройник и приемник мыши usb), а также ещё чтото жалуется, в интернете говорят это причина падений:

еще хочу отметить что у меня удалены все проприетарные драйверы. в devuan они все под именем firmware-*. и есть спец скрипт удаления их всех. где-то пишут что проблема с биос или с нагрузкой, но у меня нет никаких серьезных потребителей видеопамяти.

переподключил беспроводную клавиатуру acer и беспроводную мышь Logitech M590 не через кабель и тройник, а напрямую в usb-выходы, но сообщения все равно появляются, и причем более часто:

подключил мышь и клавиатуру обратно через usb-тройник и usb-удлинитель, поднёс прям к мыши и клавиатуре (а не на 1,5 метра как было раньше), и сообщения стали появляться реже.

НО появляются если долго держать нажатой кнопку мыши: «майнинг» новых сообщений можно сделать так: https://ibb.co/fQrzK9h

Но видимо это не относится к проблеме падений xorg?

Не относится. Это просто разработчики libinput ужасно требовательны, но никаких реальных последствий эти ошибки не имеют.

Установи обратно firmware-misc-nonfree. Это не драйверы, а микрокод, и он как минимум полезен для встроенной графики Intel. Также стоит установить intel-microcode, это уже для CPU.

я делал бекап пакетов firmware перед удалением с помощью apt-clone clone ~/mypackages –with-dpkg-repack и вот они:

сейчас, чтобы установить заново некоторые из них, я редактировал /etc/apt/sources.list сделав в конце всех строк ‘main non-free’. а потом apt-update, и эти пакеты firmware стали видны apt, и я установил firmware-misc-nonfree - в нём есть драйвер nvidia, возможно будет лучше работать карта NVIDIA Corporation GK208B [GeForce GT 710], честно говоря не знаю как это можно протестить?

но драйвер интел я не знаю где находятся:

нашел микрокод интел так apt-cache search firmware-* но поставить не получается из-за iucode-tool

поменял репы на chimaera обратно, а также добавил contrib и микрокод тоже поставился

Я уверен, что там этого нет. Во-первых, повторюсь, это не драйверы, а прошивки (микрокод). Во-вторых, NVIDIA не разрешает распространять firmware отдельно от драйверов. Я думал, что у тебя встроенное видео. Для NVIDIA, вероятно, стоит установить фирменный драйвер. Сам не пользуюсь, поэтому могу помочь только ссылкой: https://wiki.debian.org/NvidiaGraphicsDrivers

Выкачай и поставь старое из Беовульфа и перегрузись под ним..

Если это не поможет то подключи обратно репозитарии Беовульфа, но не отключай при этом репозитарии Чимаеры.
Потом в конфиге апта поменяй целевой релиз с Чимаеры обратно на Беовульф.

После этого сделай apt update и снеси openshot и chromium, после чего поставь их обратно из репозитария Беовульфа.

Если это не поможет то с помощью dpkg снеси главный пакет xorg и так же поставь его из Беовульфа.
Эту операцию надо делать не под гуем, а в консоли.

Пункты:

  1. Заменять пакеты именно в такой последовательности не обязательно, я дал в порядке роста сложности и возни.
  2. Глючит не только у тебя, так что может ничего не делай, а просто временно перейди на другой браузер и подожди недельку пока не поправят
