Описание позиции:
We're looking for an ambitious and self-motivated Software Engineer who is not afraid of responsibility to take on a set of micro-services within our infrastructure and help us take the company to the next level and achieve our ambitious plans.
Our technology stack:
- Scala Typesafe (Playframework, Slick, a little bit of Akka, etc.) and Typelevel (cats, http4s, circe, etc.)
- AWS ECS Clusters and Docker containers
- PostgreSQL, Snowflake, MySQL, S3
- Kafka, AWS Kinesis
- Terraform, AWS Cloud Formation
- a lot of AWS Cloud infrastructure
- some of PHP and a little of Python
How we operate:
- Scrum
- Gitflow and code-reviews
- CI/CD with CircleCI
- SOA via Microservices
- Ownership and personal responsibility
- Zoom, Slack, Atlassian
Minimum qualifications:
- professional degree in Computer Science or related field
- +7 years of experience in Software Engineer position
- solid knowledge of Scala and its technology stack
- deep experience and understanding of Java, JMM, and Concurrency
- experience in horizontal-scalable and fault-tolerant applications development
- understanding of the REST API design principles
- production experience with SQL and NoSQL datastores
- experience with Linux-based environments
- minimum upper-intermediate English
- a high level of self-discipline
Preferred qualifications:
- experience with PHP (we have some legacy we want to get rid off)
- experience with AWS, Snowflake, etc.
- if you have a good fit in our technology stack, it is A BIG PLUS
- fluent English
Responsibilities:
- maintaining and improving existing system and its components
- implement and deliver new features
- perform code reviews
- attend in architecture design of the system
- be fully available at PST timezone 9 am - 6 pm
