DevOps Lead fill the mission-critical role of building production support team, establishing L2/L3 processes and procedures, and ensuring that complex, web-scale systems are healthy, monitored, automated, and designed to scale.
Responsibilities:
Monitor customer’s private and public large-scale AWS clouds
Work closely with development teams to ensure that platforms are designed with "operability" in mindset
Design solutions with high availability and scalability mindset
Research, analyze and propose new technology solutions for infrastructure
Make things go faster
Assist in the roll-out and deployment of new product features and installations to facilitate our rapid iteration and constant growth
Bachelor's degree in CS, EE or MIS; or equivalent experience
Experience with high-volume, high-availability systems
Strong experience with Amazon Web Services and related tech stack
5+ years of experience with LAMP development/administration
Hands-on scripting with shell & Python/Ruby/Perl/Chef
Experience in working with Nagios (or similar tool)
Thorough understanding of TCP/IP networking & DNS
Excellent project management, communication, prioritization and analytical skills
Strong customer service mindset
PHP development experience is a plus
