Requirements: * Design of a Real-time Embedded Multi-tasking Operating System Qualifications: * Minimum of a Kandidate Nauk degree in one of 1) computer science or 2) computer engineering -OR- demonstrating equivalent experience * Demonstrating thorough knowledge of modern operating system design principles, including but not limited to the areas of distributed operating systems, multitasking, parallel processing, real-time, object-orientation, high-availability, messaging architectures and device drivers. * Some familiarity with Linux or Unix operating system architecture * Ability to read technical documentation/manuals in English * Oral fluency in English Desireable (but not essential): * Young: under 34 years old * Taught a class in the Institute/Aspirantura/Doktoratura or written scientific papers in the area of "Operating System Design" or the equivalent * Intel processor family architecture and assembly language * Networking and protocol knowledge/experience * 8-16-32 bit non-Intel microprocessors or microcontrollers * Process Control applications * Knowledge of C/C++ * Knowledge of Linux (or Unix) kernel internals * Knowledge of Linux (or Unix) device driver structures Compensation may be to $4,500/month or greater for the right candidate. Requirements: * Low level Linux/Unix kernel development * Low level Linux/Unix device driver development Qualifications: * Minimum of a bachelor degree in one of 1) computer science 2) computer engineering or 3) electrical engineering -OR- demonstrating equivalent experience * Having taken a University/Institute class in operating system design -OR- demonstrating equivalent experience * 2 or more years of experience in C/C++ (although the work will be predominantly done in C) * Demonstrated knowledge of Linux (or Unix) kernel internals * Knowledge of assembly language for any 16-32 bit microprocessor * Experience in Linux (or Unix) device driver development * Minimum of the ability to read technical documentation/manuals in English Desireable (but not essential): * Intel processor family architecture and assembly language * Networking and protocol knowledge/experience * Knowledge of RPM and DEB * Shell script programming, including TCL * HTML, CGI and PERL * 8-16-32 bit non-Intel microprocessors or microcontrollers * Process Control applications * Oral fluency in English зарплата от 150 до 2 500 долларов в месяц 3) [6 POSITIONS OPEN] Java Application Programmer – Java 2 We presently have openings for Software Developers in Java 2.
