MPD. error: Connection closed by the server

Химичил-химичил я со своим rc.lua (awesome wm), и внезапно mpd перестал откликаться. запущенные ранее клиенты с ним работают без проблем, запущенные после, и вызовы от mpc — никак. ни от юзера, ни от рута.

какие логи/конфиги приложить?

       max_connections <number>
              This specifies the maximum number of clients that can be connected to mpd.
              The default is 5.

А лучше разберись, почему один скрипт несколько раз коннектится к серверу.

кажется, разобрался. у меня mpdscribble был запущен оверполсотни экземпляров. я это просёк, только когда у меня проц сожрало до 100.

будем считать, что решено.
