Захотел запустить Windows XP в VirtualBox

Скачал образ и запустил Виртуал Бокс и тут....

 Kernel driver not installed (rc=-1908)

where: suplibOsInit what: 3 VERR_VM_DRIVER_NOT_INSTALLED (-1908) - The support driver is not installed. On linux, open returned ENOENT.

Дальше вот такое

Какой смысл от большего количества настроек, если ты в них не хочешь разбираться? Вот иди сейчас и сам выясни, как установить ядерные хедеры.

Те пакетный менеджер подсказывает:

The distribution packages containing the headers are probably: kernel-devel kernel-devel-5.11.12-300.fc34.x86_64

Соответственно, тебе нужно установить пакет kernel-devel. Как установить - так же, как и виртуалбокс.

В федоре есть прекрасно работающий libvirt, на кой фиг вам этот мертвый хлам virtualbox?

sudi dnf install libvirt virt-manager ; sudo systemctl start libvirtd ; virt-manager
