Worm blamed for laptop crash

You have heard about viruses and worms – pieces of software that could wreak havoc in your laptop.

Mark Taylor's laptop recently crashed because of a worm . But the worm was of a different type. It was a 12 centimeter long earthworm, which crawled into an air vent of his laptop and coiled itself around a cooling fan. The result? The laptop overheated.

Taylor suspects that it was one of his pet cats that brought the worm into the house.

The moral of this true story: keep your laptop safe in its case when not in use.
