Hi all, I am using Linux not so much, therefore I don't know how correctly setting 22" monitor here.
I have HP Compaq LA2205wg monitor with new computer (Compaq 6200 Pro, Intel HD Graphics Family) but any image (in browser, wallpaper etc) stretches too much abnormally - for instance all human faces are ellipsoidal :'(
From the 'System - Monitor' menu Debian shows he find «Unknown monitor» and set it to 1600x1200.
lspci out show: VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation Sandy Bridge Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 09).
Maybe it doesn't works out-of-box.
Also I have no xorg.conf file in my system.
How I can repair to see properly picture on my monitor?

не знаю как настроить 22" монитор HP Compaq LA2205wg на дебиане 6. системник - Compaq 6200 Pro, Intel HD Graphics Family (hdmi) любое изображение, обои, или в бразуере растягивается - увсех людей лица овальные Меню 'System - Monitor' говорит «Unknown monitor» и ставит 1600x1200. lspci говорит: VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation Sandy Bridge Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 09). видимо не работает из коробки? также у меня в системе нет файла xorg.conf как починить можно?

И шо тебе не нравится? То, что ему уже ответили там, но он тем не менее запостил сюда, или то, что он просто на всякий случай сразу спросил в двух местах?
