Senior firmware/kernel engineer ($1700 - $2000)
Employer: Offshore software development company
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in firmware/kernel development - Extensive knowledge of C - Good knowledge of the GNU tool chain and related development tools - Good knowledge of Unix/Linux kernel internals
Preferred - Good knowledge of the AVR and/or H8 architectures - Experience with other non-x86 architectures (ARM, MIPS, PowerPC, XScale, etc) - Experience in development of device drivers for RTOS environments - Familiarity with IPM and/or PICMG (especially PICMG 3.x) standards
Responsibilities - Development and maintenance of software for highly integrated microcontrollers (Atmel AVR, Renesys H8, etc) - Linux kernel development - General-purpose firmware development
Social package and salary: from $1700 - $ 2000 + medical insurance package
