ArchLinux проблема с подключением к сети

произведена свежая установка Арча на ThinkPad X1 Extreme(Gen1).

установленны базовые пакеты

# pacstrap /mnt base base-devel linux linux-firmware 

для работа с сетью использовал networkmanager. (также пробовал dhcpcd) после минимальной установки,перезагрузившись войдя в систему обнаружено отсутствие сетевых интерфейсов:

месяца 3-4 назад другу ставили арч на идентичную машину и все сразу заработало, а тут что-то не выходит, должно быть я где-то накосячил.

dhcpcd - исключил;

ifconfig -a: команда не найдена, должно быть не установил ifconfig. сейчас сделаю.

Для всех устройств на шине PCI (PCI-E) в выводе [code] lspci -k [/code] а тем более для ethernet и wifi контроллеров должны быть присутствовать строки с указанием используемого драйвера и модуля.

Без liveISO, dmesg | grep e1000 ничего не выводит.

Вот а должен тоже выводить, нарвался на баг. Можно попробовать e1000e-dkms поставить или ядро лтс (предпочтительней и проще) Проверь еще iwlwifi для вайфая

не ставил lts т.к. читал, что могут быть проблемы с переключением между интегрированной и дискретной видеокартой (хотя это было несколько месяцев тому назад, думаю следует пересмотреть). хочу использовать ноут как станцию, подключив к внешним дисплеям

Дык, ifconfig же в линупсе назвали кривым и устаревшим. Потому и выпилили на свое (ip). Заменили и забили… Уже лет десять версия не меняется. Видимо до совершенства довели, в отличии от ifconfig. Для wifi в Linux iwconfig придумали. Но и ее назвали устаревшей и вместо не придумали wireless_tools, и тоже назвали устаревшей, заменили iw. Да и она не все умеет. «Совершенству» не предела!

Э что то не то у тебя, модулей вообще нет.Ошибки при установке linux скорее всего Проверь есть ли файлы, если нет переставь линукс

Дело в том что если ядро другое например не перезагрузился после обновления то модули от другого для него работать не будут и modinfo не покажет

проверял, ничего нового не увидел, такой же вывод как в начале поста. перегрузился еще раз на всякий случай, тоже без изменений.

хм.. проверил ядро, пишет:

uname -r

а было:

5.4.6-arch3-1

должно быть тогда это был вывод с чрута.

Ну вот а модули у тебя от 5.4.8-arch1-1 потому и не работают. Разбирайся почему грузится старое ядро, скорее всего ошибки при установке linux не отрабатывает правильно post-transaction hooks и не ставятся новые vmlinuz-linux и initramfs-linux.img. Может сделал отдельный boot и не монтируещь при обновлении

  2. собственно основное - не прикрутил /boot в часности при:

просмотрел репорты багов и wpa_supplicant. предварително установил Плазму, по ошибка как я понял позже, выбрал:

plasma-meta

instead of:

plasma-desktop

насколько я после понял, plasma-meta самый «полный» пакет, собственно это я увидел и по размеру при установке (~1.4Gb). В итоге, после ребута, войдя в систему в трее уже были видны сетевые интерфейсы и оба работающие. Как я понимаю с плазмой установился wpa_supplicant, и прочие пакеты…

вообщем, сеть работает!

но у меня появилось несколько вопросов по управлению(подключению) сети:

если я верно понимаю, «NetworkManager», который в данный момент установлен и добавлен в «systemctl» как сервис (предварительно отключив dhcpcd) отвечает только за ethernet продключение и к wlan не относится. А для бесповодной собственно и ну жен был «wpa_supplicant» ? т.е. если бы сейчас не стоял GUI(со всеми пакетами, что притянулись), для работы с wi-fi мне необходимо было бы сделать:

  1. поставить wpa_supplicant и wpa_cli
  2. создать/отредактировать конфиги по примеру Wiki.

но у меня это имплементированно иначе: постле подключения к wi-fi (через GUI interface) в директории:

/etc/NetworkManager/system-connections 

создался файл:

<мой USSID>.nmconnection

я теперь несколько запутался, что к чему. Всё работает, но не ясно для меня как. Ведь если что-то отпадет мне нужно знать куда лезть, что проверять.
