Не работают Гуи для Wi-Fi

Собственно проблема. Я пробовал 3: NetworkManager, wicd, wpa-gui. Последний вообще ничего не показал, а первых два видят сети но не подключаются к ним. NM пишет connection failed, а wicd нет связи с сетью.

В чем проблема? Дело в том, что через wpasupplicant и настройку interfaces+ifup/ifdown все работает. успешно подключается к сети. Но это консоль, а хотелось бы гуй. Да и жизненный интерес терзает. как так? Debian wheezy 7.9 Wi-Fi модуль Realtek 8191SU

твой юзер есть в группе network, или как она там называется в Debian? Кстати wicd не пользуся, лучше уж вообще без менеджера сети, чем пользоваться wicd

В чем проблема?

Так логи посмотри - тот же wicd, например, пишет в /var/log/wicd. Ну и права, да (netdev группа), может от рута попробовать запустить.

Да юзер в группе есть. От рута запускал-тоже самое. Про логи не подумал, пойду смотреть

wpa2-psk А при чем тут шифрование? Да, я пробовал точку с телефона раздавать без шифрования вообще. Результат тот же Прсто не догоняю почему через ifup все работает, а через гуй-нет. Ведь всеж через суппликант идет
