Сам сетевой интерфейс он видит?

Вангую, что у тебя не хватает модуля, для твоего адаптера, и тебе надо его прикрутить руками. Что за адаптер, кстати?

Где это можно посмотреть?

Да и еще забыл сказать что по кабелю интернет работает, а вот wifi не видит

Загрузи с флешки 15.04, выясняй что за железяка стоит, с какой версии поддерживается.

В терминале введи lspci и покажи сюда выхлоп.

Заработало.

Если вкратце, может кому пригодится, нужно было установить драйвер 0b:00.0 Network controller: Broadcom Corporation BCM4312 802.11b/g LP-PHY (rev 01)

В терминале

sudo apt-get update

sudo apt-get install bcmwl-kernel-source

после в additional drivers появляется драйвер, после перезагрузки все заработало :)

Да пожалуйста.
Только не «драйвер», а модуль ядра установить надо было. В линуксе нет драйверов.
