CUPS, ghostscript и pdf

форматирование нормальное поставить при постинге.

никак не могу наладить печать на моем brother hl-1430
печатаю pdf из acroread
Debian Sarge, Cups 1.1.23-10, Brother 1430(Foomatic/hl1250 (recommended))

у него проблемы с pdf

чего делать?

Логи на максимум вывернуты?

Я, когда настраивал, выворачивал дебаг на максимум - и по логам разбирался - там всё написано было.

Попробуй еще раз поставить ghostscript, у меня в генте была похожая проблема (похоже было на то, что при установке, cups "терял" ghostscript).

видимо проблема была в postcript, который генерировал acroread. после обновления acroread все заработало
но вот беда: есле захочу шарить принтер по сети, то не у всех будет самая последняя версия программы и они не смогут печатать
