Ах да, третьим на LinuxRSp советуют столь же доисторический ANSI Draw (последнюю версию можно найти в архиве ansi.0.0.7a.tar.gz).

Он говорит ./ansi: can't load dynamic linker '/lib/ld.so nor /usr/i486-linux/lib/ld.so'

Я использую GIMP, при сохранении в файл типа AA любая картинка сохраняется в формате Asci Art (текстовый файл)

У меня там есть только опция ASCII, но это совсем другое, не ASCII Art.
